How can I get my child to brush more often?

Some children don’t like to brush their teeth

Possibly they don’t like the taste of the toothpaste. Change it. Select one with pleasant taste that contains fluoride but no sugar.

Perhaps the toothbrush is too big or too hard and hurts children while brushing. Select a toothbrush with small head, soft bristles, anatomic grip, and a fun design.

Explain to them that regular brushing will help them keep their teeth healthy for many years.

Some Tips:

Make brushing the teeth a fun experience that the child looks forward to every day.

Visit the dentist regularly every six months. The dentist will help your child to understand the importance of brushing.

Enjoyable dental experiences are very important for your child to build a lifetime of good dental habits.
